Dr. Sananjay Biswas -Founder & Director
Physics Educator and International Curriculum Specialist

Dr. Sananjay brings over 25 years of extensive experience in teaching Physics across a wide spectrum of international curricula including IBDP, IGCSE, A Levels, MYP, AP Physics, and O Levels. His teaching career spans some of the most respected international schools in India, where he has held leadership roles such as Head of the Physics Department and Vice Principal. His notable affiliations include:

* RIMS International School, Juhu (2005)
* Canterbury International School, Karjat (2007)
* Podar International School, Santacruz (2007)
* DY Patil International School (2009–2016)

In addition to his institutional roles, Dr. Sananjay is the Founding-Director of PION Academy, a well established personalized and online coaching platform that provides specialized instruction in international curricula. The STEM Leadership at PION Academy trains aspiring STEM students from Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, Thailand, and the United States in the IBDP, A Levels, MYP, IGCSE, and O Levels subjects for STEM i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.

Dr. Sananjay has been an active part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) assessment community since 2010, serving as a Senior Examiner for IBDP Physics HL Paper 3 (P3), Internal Assessments (IAs), and Extended Essays (EEs). Between 2007 and 2012, he also served as an IGCSE examiner, further strengthening his assessment expertise.

He holds a Ph.D. in Climate Change in the Western Indian Ocean and has authored over 50 research papers in the field of Physics. Under his guidance, numerous students from international schools have successfully conducted and published research in leading academic journals which has helped strengthened their undergraduate applications to elite STEM Universities.
